This paella only requires one pan (hurrah!), no measuring (hurrah!) and very little effort!
What you need:
1 pack of frozen paella (I use Tesco's)
1 pack of king prawns
2 x teaspoons of smoked paprika
a few drops of tabasco sauce (depending on how spicy you like it!)
sprinkling of white pepper
2 spring onions, chopped
handful of parsley (fresh or I often used dried)
handful of basil leaves
slice of lemon
dollop creme fraiche
garlic oil for drizzling
What you do:
Tip the paella into a pan with the king prawns. Add the smoked paprika, sprinkling of white pepper, salt to taste, chopped spring onions and a tablespoon of water. Cook over a medium heat, stirring to make sure the bottom doesn't catch. Add more water as needed. When cooked through, stir in the chopped parsley and basil. Serve up, add a drizzle of garlic oil, a dollop of creme fraiche and a squeeze of lemon. Enjoy!
