Struggling to teach your kids? Then read on...

Struggling to keep on top of home learning at the moment?! Then this might help! The BBC has launched daily lessons to teach children a variety of subjects.

A number of famous faces have been recruited to help, including Sir David Attenborough who will be teaching about oceans and why animals look they way they do.

The Bitesize Daily lessons will be on the BBC’s existing Bitesize website, and there will be lessons available in the core subjects for the primary and secondary school years between year 1 and year 10. There will also be an additional weekly, age-appropriate ‘Book Club’.

Bitesize Daily will run for 14 weeks, and is aimed at supporting learning in the home environment.

Here are the links to videos on topics for KS1, KS2 and KS3.

The 20 minute shows have been prepared with, and will be presented by, teachers and education experts. In addition, a range of celebrities have also been recruited to help present the lessons and to read books for the ‘Book Club’:

  • Sir David Attenborough
  • Jodie Whittaker
  • Professor Brian Cox
  • Anita Rani
  • Danny Dyer

BBC Four is allocating time each weekday evening for programmes to support students studying GCSEs and A-Levels, see here

Hope it's going well for you and your kids in these challenging times.
